Terms & Conditions

The short version of how we work together — mixing and production, in plain words. It mirrors the full agreement. Paying your invoice means you accept these terms — nothing hidden, nothing surprising.

What you get

• Unlimited revisions on the mix we agreed to make — until you're genuinely happy (see Reasonable expectations below).
• If you want it: a mastered mix within 1–2 days of your approval, included — just say so within 60 days of delivery.
• Alt mixes & stems — acapella, instrumental, TV mix and mix stems — included. These get printed between sessions, so they land within a few days of your approved mix/master.
• First mix pass in 3–7 days of receiving your prepped files, unless I've said otherwise.

Payment

• Payment in full, up front books your slot. The money side is settled before we start, so the whole project stays about the music — and it's non-refundable once I've started. Need to cancel before I've started? Full refund, no hard feelings.
• All payments run securely through Stripe.

Your music, your rights

• Your music stays yours. I claim no ownership in your song — on full payment you're free to release the finished mix anywhere, forever.
• Credit where credits live. Please credit “Mixed by Tommy Marman” — and “Produced by Tommy Marman” where it applies — in the metadata and wherever credits appear.
• Production is its own conversation. If I produce for you — writing, arranging, building the track — that's quoted separately and may include a share of master royalties (industry-standard producer points) and, where I co-write, a songwriting split. Always agreed in writing before we start.
• Portfolio. I may feature your released track as an example after it's out — unless you ask me not to.

The fine but fair print

• Files come prepped. Tuning, editing and timing are finalised by you before delivery (see the Mix Prep Guide).
• A new version is a new mix. Re-arranged, re-recorded or differently-scoped versions are quoted separately — revisions refine the mix we agreed to, not a different one.
• What you send is yours to send. By uploading files you confirm you have the rights to everything in them — recordings, samples, features. Clearing third-party material is on you.
• Timelines follow the files. Turnarounds count from when your invoice is paid and I have your prepped files and feedback — gaps on your side move delivery dates with them.
• After delivery, recalls more than 60 days later are quoted at the current rate. I archive projects for 12 months, but keep your own backups of everything.
• Plain-English liability. If something's wrong on my end I'll make it right, but my responsibility is capped at what you've paid me — and I promise a mix we're both proud of, not streams, charts or placements.

Reasonable expectations

Let's make this enjoyable for both of us. If things get stressful, we keep the tone calm and work it out — that's on both sides. And if we've gone several rounds of revisions and it's genuinely not moving in the right direction for either of us, it's fair for either side to call it: I deliver the latest version as it stands — that delivery settles the project — we part on good terms, and nobody walks away bitter. It almost never comes to that — but it's better written down than assumed.
